Visitors and Public Comment:
Aj Prusa discussed the updates on the ballfield and presented handouts with costs to maintain and finish up the ballfield. Reminded the council that she will be back next month with more information.
Police: Devon
• Has received small grant for City from Harbor Freight.
Municipal Court: Shirley
• Court was held July 22 with next regular court scheduled for September 23.
• Since court is being held every-other month; attorney and judge agreed with suggestion of Council that August 26 court be held to cover Ordinance issues only.
City Treasurer Report: Shirley
Approval of July 31, 2026 Journal Entry, Petty Cash, Treasurer report, and Bank Statements.

Working with Joel (EBH) on list of documents he needs for Engineering Report (new requirement). Victoria with “Hometown Grants” has called and will be emailing several dates for a conference call with her, Joel, and myself (along with anyone else that wishes to sit in).
Public Works New Business:
• Water leak fixed at 302 S. Jefferson Avenue. (football field)
• Water leak fixed on W. Maple Street and S. Hays Avenue
Approval to purchase Street saw adaptor for estimated cost of $785.99
