Harper County Department on Aging is hiring a Part Time Senior Center Director to run the Harper, KS Senior Center.
Applicants must possess the ability to interact with people, communicate effectively, and handle several tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities include coordinating and administering the Senior Meal Nutrition Program, ensuring participants in both congregate and home delivered programs receive a noon meal. Other responsibilities include completing daily, monthly, and quarterly reports as required, keeping client records and monitoring and depositing contributions generated by the Senior Meals program. Minor custodial duties include, but are not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and washing dishes after the afternoon meal.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid non-restricted driver’s license. Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
