THE STATE OF KANSAS TO ALL PERSONS CONCERNED:
You are notified that a Petition has been filed in this Court by Diane Wingate, spouse and one of the heirs of Garold N. Wingate, deceased, requesting the following described real estate situated in Kingman County, Kansas,
The South Half of the Northwest Quarter (S/2 NW/4) of Section Six (6), Township Twenty-seven (27), Range Six (6) West of the 6th P.M., Kingman County, Kansas;
The Southwest Quarter (SW/4) of Section Six (6), Township Twenty-seven (27), Range Six (6) West of the 6th P.M., Kingman County, Kansas;
The Southwest Quarter (SW/4) of Section Seven (7), Township Twenty-seven (27) South, Range Six (6) West of the 6th P.M., Kingman County, Kansas; and
The Southeast Quarter (SE/4) of Section Twelve (12) in Township Twenty-seven (27) South, Range Seven (7) West of the 6th P.M., EXCEPTING THEREFROM THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED TRACT: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Southeast Quarter (SE/4); thence South on the East line of said Section Twelve (12) a distance of Five Hundred feet (500′); thence West at right angles a distance of Nine Hundred Ninety feet (990′); thence North at right angles a distance of Five Hundred feet (500′) to the North line of said Southeast Quarter (SE/4); thence East on the North line of the Southeast Quarter (SE/4) of Section Twelve (12) a distance of Nine Hundred Ninety feet (990′) to the place of beginning (contains 11.36 acres, more or less),
be assigned pursuant to the terms of the Valid Settlement Agreement dated July 3, 2025.
You are required to file your written defenses to the Petition on or before September 15, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in the City of Kingman, Kingman County, Kansas, at which time and place the cause will be heard. Should you fail to file your written defenses, judgment and decree will be entered in due course upon the Petition.
