ORDINANCE NO. 2144 SUMMARY
On August 14, 2025, the City of Kingman, Kansas, adopted Ordinance No. 2144 incorporating by reference the Uniform Public Offense Code for Kansas Cities, 41st Edition (2025), prepared and published by the League of Kansas Municipalities, for the regulation of public offenses within the City. The ordinance affirms the City Attorney’s prosecutorial discretion, preserves existing deviations, changes, and omissions from the Uniform Public Offense Code as set forth elsewhere in the City Code, and repeals Ordinance No. 2133.
