MINUTES OF BOCC REGULAR MEETING

The Board of Commissioners of Grant County, Oklahoma (BOCC) held a regular meeting on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 9:00 am. Notice of the Meeting, including agenda, was posted at both entrances of the Grant County Courthouse, Medford, OK, Friday June 13, 2025, prior to 9:00 am. in accordance with Title 25, §301-314 O.S.

Fredrick called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. After roll call, a quorum was acknowledged. Present were Craig Fredrick, Steve Stinson, and Keith McClure. Also present was Rachelle D. McCaleb and Penny Huff. Donnie Head entered at 9:15am. Teleconferencing was enabled to comply with the Open Meetings Act. Out of the commissioners Stinson, Fredrick, and McClure used their signature stamps and hand signed as well.

Stinson said a prayer and McClure led the flag salute.

McCaleb acknowledged the agenda was properly posted in compliance with the Open Meeting Act. There were no Transfer of Appropriations.

Stinson moved to approve Blanket Purchase Orders. McClure seconded. Fredrick – aye; Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Motion carried.

McClure moved to approve Purchase Orders and Travel Claims. Stinson seconded. Fredrick – aye; Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Matin carried.

Conference call with Cintas. Cintas will send copy of their yearly addendum template that can be added to a contract if the County approves to sign with Cintas. This would allow that the County to review and sign off each year. No further action at this time.

At 9:21am Stinson moved to go back to item (d). McClure seconded. Fredrick- aye; Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Matin carried.

McClure moved to approve minutes from 06.09.2025 BOCC Regular Meeting. Stinson seconded. Fredrick – aye; Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Matin carried.

No action taken on outstanding payments to IRS for penalties and interest for years 2021, 2023,

2024.

Stinson moved to approve Annual Resolutions for FY 25-26 as follows:

Resolution 2025-107 -ACCO-SIF – Workman’s Compensation Renewal

Resolution 2025-108 – Eastern OK Youth Services & Grant County for Pittsburgh County Regional Juvenile Detention Center Resolution 2025-143 – County Budgeting Services LLC

McCaleb will contact an inspector for the church building to get pricing information and schedule inspection.

McClure moved to approve Letter of Support for Medford EMS. Stinson seconded. Fredrick – aye; Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Motin carried.

Stinson moved to acknowledge Grant County Treasurer’s 2025 June Resale Minutes. McClure seconded. Fredrick – aye; Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Motin carried.

McClure d;scussed D1 is catching up on culverts washed out and hauling shale to wash out spots.

Stinson discussed D3 fixing culverts. They are also helping Pond Creek pick up branches and haul off from the storm.

Fredrick discussed D2 had to close 2-3 roads and is still working on replacing and fixing tubing. No new business.
