Crews from APAC are scheduled to begin work on chip sealing County Road M in Clark County from Highway 34 east to the Comanche County line. This chip seal work is estimated to start on Aug. 26 and be finished by end of the end of the month.
The chip sealing process includes applying a hot asphalt emulsion followed by a surface layer of small rock. Chip seals are part of road maintenance to help seal and preserve the life of the existing pavement.
The Clark County Road and Bridge department asks residents to be courteous to the construction crews while they are working. This will allow crews to do the work more efficiently and expedite the process.
