Protection Valley Manor recently announced a change to the Independence Day celebration.
PVM will light up the sky for the annual fireworks show on Friday, July 3 instead of the actual holiday on Saturday.
Community members are welcome to line the street or pull up a chair with residents to watch the celebration of 250 years of America.
Free snow cones will be available to everyone.
The annual show is made possible through community donations.
