NOTICE OF PLACES AND
DATES OF REGISTRATION
Pursuant to the provisions of K.S.A. 25-2311(c ), notice is hereby given that the books for the registration of voters in Kingman County, Kansas will be closed from 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 and will remain closed until the day after the Primary Election which will be held in the County of Kingman, State of Kansas on the 4th day of August, 2026. Books will reopen on August 5th, 2026.
OFFICE HOURS:
The books will be open each day Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the County Clerk’s Office. At 5:00 p.m. on July 14th, 2026 the books will close and remain closed until August 5th, 2025, which is the day after the Primary Election.
To register you must be 18 years of age or older, or will have attained the age of 18 years before the next election.
When a voter has been registered according to law, his or her registration shall continue to be valid until one of the following occurs:
1. The voter changes name by marriage, divorce or legal proceedings.
2.The voter changes residence in which he resided at the time he registered.
3. When a voter dies or is disqualified for voting, his or her registration will be pulled from the files after verified.
4. When a voter fails to vote in two consecutive General Elections after the NVRA process, such voter’s name may be removed from the registration books and party affiliation lists. Such voter must re-register in order to be able to vote.
