Harper Co. Dept. on Aging is submitting an application for capital and operating assistance for transportation under the U.S.C. 5311 (rural public transportation) of the Federal Transit Act. The application will be for capital funds to replace vehicle(s) in our current fleet and for operating funds to help provide transportation services in the area. Public Notice for DBE Vendors
Harper Co. Dept. on Aging receives Federal Transit Administration (FTA) operating dollars. This funding is utilized for the purchase of fuel, insurance, equipment maintenance and storage. This agency is seeking Kansas Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) certified companies as potential vendors for these services.
