Cunningham Cross Country Opens at Pretty Prairie

The Cunningham cross country team competed at the Pretty Prairie meet on Thursday to open the season.

In the boy’s varsity 5K race, Newt Heatherman finished sixth with a time of 20:18, Will Halderson finished eighth with a time of 21:13 and Larry Heatherman finished ninth with a time of 21:34.

In the boy’s junior varsity 4K race, Lucas Theis finished ninth with a time of 19:15 and Kane Reid finished 11th with a time of 21:52.

In the boy’s 7th-grade one-mile race, Colton Zwierchowski finished seventh with a time of 7:13 and Gauge Kamstra finished ninth with a time of 7:28.
