A free screening clinic for children from birth to five years of age will be held in Coldwater to help parents determine if their child’s development is age-appropriate. The screening is planned for Friday, Sept. 4, at the First Christian Church, located at 201 N Central Ave. Appointments are necessary to ensure appropriate screening can be completed.
Areas to be screened include concepts, motor skills, social development, speech, hearing, and vision. Immunization, physical, and nutritional information will also be available.
Arrowhead West, Inc., and the South-Central Kansas Special Education Cooperative are hosting the event. Staff from these organizations will assist in identifying any special needs your child may have and in locating services to meet those needs.
