MINUTES OF BOCC REGULAR MEETING

The Board of Commissioners of Grant County, Oklahoma (BOCC) held a regular meeting on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 9:00 am. Notice of the Meeting, including agenda, was posted at both entrances of the Grant County Courthouse, Medford, OK, Friday, July 31, 2026, prior to 9:00 am. in accordance with Title 25, §301-314 O.S. 

Stinson called the meeting to order at 9:01 a. m. After roll call, a quorum was acknowledged. Present were Steve Stinson, Keith McClure, and Craig Fredrick. Also present were Rachelle McCaleb as Secretary, and Penny Huff. Teleconferencing was enabled to comply with the Open Meetings Act. 

Out of the commissioners Stinson, Fredrick and McClure used their signature stamps and hand signed as well. 

Penny Huff said a prayer and McClure led the flag salute. 

McCaleb acknowledged the agenda was properly posted in compliance with the Open Meeting Act. 

McClure moved to approve Transfer of Appropriations. Fredrick seconded. Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Fredrick – aye; Motion carried.

Frerick moved to approve Precision Testing Laboratories Inc Quote fo church – $7, 175.00. McClure seconded. Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Fredrick – aya, Motion carried.Expense to be paid from General Fovernment Contingency Fund. Once Precision Laboratories has completed their removal process, the districts will complete demolition. 

McClure state D1 – There is a failure on a bridge at CR 860 that they will be replacing with a half tank. Continuing mowing and grading.

Fredrick stated D2 – Replacing lots of tubes this week. They will move shale 2 days this week and rock for 2 days this week. They are also fixing an air conditioner in one of their cabs.

Stinson stated D3 – Will close Blake Kretchmar’s road on Tuesday. Hauling rock. Mowing and repairing roads behind Grasshopper.

No new business to discuss.
