RESOLUTION NO. 2026- R19

A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE UNINCORPORATED AREA OF KINGMAN COUNTY, KANSAS, UNDER THE AUTHORITY GRANTED BY THE ZONING REGULATIONS OF THE COUNTY AS ORIGINALLY APPROVED BY RESOLUTION NO. 2007-38.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF KINGMAN COUNTY, KANSAS:

SECTION 1.  That having received a recommendation from the Kingman County Planning Board on Case No. Z-26-003, and proper notice having been given and hearing held as provided by law and under authority and subject to the provisions of the Zoning Resolutions of the County as originally approved by Resolution No. 2007-38, the zoning district classification from the A-1 Agriculture District to the R-R Rural Residential District of the lands legally described herein are changed as follows:

Legal description: A tract of land in the Northwest Quarter of Section 4, Township 30 South, Range 5 West of the 6th P.M. in Kingman County, Kansas. Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Section 4; Thence Easterly along the North line of said Section 4 and on an assumed bearing of South 89 degrees 59 minutes 48 seconds East a distance of 1416.00 feet to the Point of Beginning; Thence Southerly on a bearing of South 00 degrees 14 minutes 53 seconds East a distance of 700.00 feet; Thence Easterly on a bearing of South 89 degrees 59 minutes 48 seconds East a distance of 684.00 feet; Thence Northerly on a bearing of North 00 degrees 14 minutes 53 seconds West a distance of 700,00 feet to a point on the North line of said Section 4; Thence Westerly along said North line and on a bearing of North 89 degrees 59 minutes 48 seconds West a distance of 684.00 feet to the Point Of Beginning. Said tract contains 10.99 acres of land more or less which includes road right-of-way on the North.

SECTION 2. That upon the taking effect of this Resolution, the above zoning change shall be entered and shown on the Official Zoning Map(s) as previously adopted by reference and said map(s) is hereby reincorporated as a part of the Zoning Regulations as amended.

SECTION 3. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its adoption and publication once in the official county newspaper.
