MINUTES OF BOCC SPECIAL MEETING
The Board of Commissioners of Grant County, Oklahoma (BOCC) held a Special meeting on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 9:00 am. Notice of the Meeting, including agenda, was posted at both entrances of the Grant County Courthouse, Medford, OK, Monday, June 29, 2026, prior to 9:00 am. in accordance with Title 25, §301-314 O.S.
Stinson called the meeting to order at 9:02 a.m. After roll call, a quorum was acknowledged. Present were Steve Stinson, Keith McClure, and Craig Fredrick. Also present were Rachelle McCaleb as Secretary and Penny Huff. Teleconferencing was enabled to comply with the Open Meetings Act.
Out of the commissioners Stinson, Fredrick and McClure used their signature stamps and hand signed as well.
Steve Stinson said a prayer and McClure led the flag salute.
Mccaleb acknowledged the agenda was properly posted in compliance with the Open Meeting Act.

McClure stated D1 – changing culvert on CR 980 today. Normal maintenance, grading, and mowing.
Fredrick stated 02 – clearing silt off areas for farmers. Changing tubes, grading, and patching up areas after the floods.
Stinson stated D3 – mowing and working on areas after the rains. They have cut the culverts on the Kremlin blacktop project, will remove, and replace. Commissioner Stinson is asking the people to be aware and respectful of projects taking place. People are not stopping or slowing down even with traffic signs i ;.112cc. One of the D3 F-150 trucks needs shocks and repairs from the storms, he does not want to fix the vehicle. Stinson called ACCO regarding salvaging vehicles. He has taken 3 bids, and someone will be by to pick up the vehicle on Tuesday. They will surplus and dispose of the item next week. They will be looking for a new pickup for the district.
New business: Commissioners discussed the districts mowing the courthouse lawn and using the district’s fuel cards for fuel for mowers. They will also make copies of shed keys for each district.
