MINUTES OF BOCC REGULAR MEETING
The Board of Commissioners of Grant County, Oklahoma (BOCC) held a regular meeting on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 9:00 am. Notice of the Meeting, including agenda, was posted at both entrances of the Grant County Courthouse, Medford, OK, Friday, April 24, 2026, prior to 9:00 am. in accordance with Title 25, §301-314 O.S.
McClure called the meeting to order at 9:03 a.m. After roll call, a quorum was acknowledged. Present were Keith McClure, and Craig Fredrick. Steve Stinson was absent. Also present were Rachelle Mccaleb as Secretary and Penny Huff. Teleconferencing was enabled to comply with the Open Meetings Act. Out of the commissioners Fredrick and McClure used their signature stamps and hand signed as well.
Penny Huff said a prayer and McClure led the flag salute.
– McCaleb acknowledged the agenda was properly posted in compliance with the Open Meeting Act.

“Oklahoma Home and Community Education Week” May 3 – May 9, 2026. The Oklahoma Home and Community Committee also provided breakfast.
There were no Transfer of Appropriations.

Fredrick moved to approve payment of $4,535.07 to US Department of Treasury for the difference of
ARPA funds obligated versus fund expenditures. Interest in the amount of $989.43 belongs to the County and will go to the General Contingency Fund. McClure seconded. McClure – aye; Fredrick – aye; Motion carried.
McClure stated 01 – hauling river gravel and shale. They are getting mowers tuned up and spraying right of ways.
Fredrick stated 02 – business as usual
New business: District 3 has serviced the county mower, and districts will take turns mowing and weed eating the courthouse lawn.
