The Board of Commissioners of Grant County, Oklahoma (BOCC) held a special meeting on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 9:00 am. Notice of the Meeting, including agenda, was posted at both entrances of the Grant County Courthouse, Medford, OK, Friday August 22, 2025, prior to 9:00 am. in accordance with Title 25, §301-314 O.S.
Fredrick called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. After roll call, a quorum was acknowledged. Present were Craig Fredrick, Steve Stinson, and Keith McClure. Also present was Rachelle Mccaleb and Penny Huff entered at 9:02 am. Teleconferencing was enabled to comply with the Open Meetings Act. Out of the commissioners Stinson, Fredrick, and McClure used their signature stamps and hand signed as well.
Stinson said a prayer and McClure led the flag salute.
McCaleb acknowledged the agenda was properly posted in compliance with the Open Meeting Act. There were no Transfer of Appropriations.

McClure discussed District 1 – doing normal maintenance and working on signs. Stinson discussed District 3 – hauling rock and doing maintenance on vehicles. Fredrick discussed District 2 – patching washed out roads, mowing, and fixing culverts.
New business: Treasurer – Penny Huff discussed she was notified this morning, Tax money from OTC for PACT Fund is coming in this month. Will be around $102,000. Also, Buddy Carroll will be here on Tuesday to make sure offices balance and start working on budget.
