The Board of Commissioners of Grant County Oklahoma (BOCC) held a regular meeting on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 9:00 am. Notice of the Meeting, including agenda, was posted at both entrances of the Grant County Courthouse, Medford, OK, Friday, February 27, 2026, prior to 9:00 am. in accordance with Title 25, §301-314 O.S.
Stinson called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. After roll call, a quorum was acknowledged. Present were Steve Stinson, Keith McClure, and Craig Fredrick. Also present were Rachelle McCaleb as Secretary, Dusty Bittle, and April Randall. Marvin Vanaman entered at 9:13am. Teleconferencing was enabled to comply with the Open Meetings Act. Out of the commissioners Stinson, Fredrick and McClure used their signature stamps and hand signed as well.
Steve Stinson said a prayer and McClure led the flag salute.
McCaleb acknowledged the agenda was properly posted in compliance with the Open Meeting Act.

Stinson stated 03 – Started work on Ellis Road, from Trenton to 132. Hauling rock and shale. Will be starting project on Grady Road soon.
New Business: Commissioner McClure spoke of the passing of Ted Moore. He will be laid to rest today. Ted was a District 1 County Commissioner from 1989 – 2003, he was a Veteran with the Military Police. He then farmed and ranched in the Clyde Community. Not a week goes by when Commissioner McClure does not hear a story about Ted Moore. Ted was 93 years old and will be missed by the community.
