MINUTES OF BOCC REGULAR MEETING
The Board of Commissioners of Grant County, Oklahoma (BOCC) held a regular meeting on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 9:00 am. Notice of the Meeting, including agenda, was posted at both entrances of the Grant County Courthouse, Medford, OK, Wednesday, March 4, 2026, prior to 9:00 am. in accordance with Title 25, §301-314 O.S.
Stinson called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. After roll call, a quorum was acknowledged. Present were Steve Stinson, Keith McClure, and Craig Fredrick. Also present were Rachelle McCaleb as Secretary and Penny Huff. Teleconferencing was enabled to comply with the Open Meetings Act. All Commissioners used their signature stamps and hand signed as well.
Stinson said a prayer and McClure led the flag salute.
Mccaleb acknowledged the agenda was properly posted in compliance with the Open Meeting Act.
McClure moved to approve Transfer of Appropriations. Fredrick seconded. Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Fredrick-aye: Motion carried.
Fredrick moved to approve minutes from 03.02.2026 BOCC Regular Meeting. McClure seconded. Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Fredrick-aye: Motion carried.
Fredrick moved to approve Monthly Appropriations. McClure seconded. Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Fredrick-aye: Motion carried.
McClure moved to approve Monthly Officers Report February, 2026. Fredrick seconded. Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Fredrick-aye: Motion carried.
Fredrick moved to approve Court Clerk Records Management & Preservation February, 2026
$ 14,954.94. McClure seconded. Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Fredrick-aye: Motion carried.
McClure moved to approve Regular Payroll for Officers/ Employees for February, 2026 for disbursement in March, 2026. Fredrick seconded. Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Fredrick-aye: Motion carried.
McClure moved to approve Statutory travel for elected officials for February, 2026 for disbursement in March, 2026. Fredrick seconded. Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Fredrick-aye: Motion carried
Fredrick moved to approve Monthly Mortgage Tax & Certification Fee for February, 2026 for disbursement in March, 2026 S 190.00. McClure seconded. Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Fredrick-aye: Motion carried.
McClure moved to approve Allocation of Alcoholic Beverage Tax for February, 2026 for disbursement in March, 2026 – $14,52303. Fredrick seconded. Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Fredrick – aye: Motion carried.
McClure moved to approve Allocation of Motor Vehicle Tax for February, 2026 for disbursement in March, 2026 $1,789.32. Fredrick seconded. Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Fredrick-aye: Motion carried.
Fredrick moved to approve Bank of America P-card for February, 2026 – $2,930.71. McClure seconded. Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Fredrick – aye; Motion carried.
McClure stated 01 – They are working on equipment and waiting for it dry up from the rain.
Fredrick stated O2-working on a road agreement project with PSO that will be coming up in the next 3 months. Still short one employee and a grader.
Stinson stated 03 – business as usual, hauling rock and shale soon on their bigger projects. Stinson attended the recent 522 Ambulance Board meeting. They had one bid submitted for contract service from Miller EMS. Miller EMS awarded the bid. They are really happy with the 522 Board. They are working hard and doing a tremendous job for the citizens of Grant County.
No new business to discuss.
