MINUTES OF BOCC REGULAR MEETING
The Board of Commissioners of Grant County, Oklahoma (BOCC) held a regular meeting on Monday, December 8, 2025, at 9:00 am. Notice of the Meeting, including agenda, was posted at both entrances of the Grant County Courthouse, Medford, OK, Friday, December 5, 2025, prior to 9:00 am. in accordance with Title 25, §301-314 O.S.
Fredrick called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. After roll call, a quorum was acknowledged. Present were Craig Fredrick, Steve Stinson, and Keith McClure. Also present were Rachelle McCaleb, Penny Huff, and Justin Bentley. Teleconferencing was enabled to comply with the Open Meetings Act. Out of the commissioners Stinson, Fredrick, and McClure used their signature stamps and hand signed as well.
Stinson said a prayer and McClure led the flag salute.
McCaleb acknowledged the agenda was properly posted in compliance with the Open Meeting Act.

Stinson moved to approve Sheriffs Dept. back pay for employee overtime hours: $195.85 to be paid out of General Fund – contingency and $446.21 to be paid out of Sheriffs department current budget. McClure seconded. Fredrick – aye; Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Motion carried.
Commissioner Stinson attended a recent Fair Board Training Course. It was determined that the Fair Board can vote to have a separate account to distribute checks for premium awards and donations. These are private funds collected. The Commissioners would like to see a report on the
donati0ns collected. The Fair Board would need to vote on if they would like to set up this account. Any money collected for the rental of the Expo Building should go through the County Treasurer’s Office as the BOCC oversees this account. Stinson moved to approve that the Fair Board get an
· account to manage donations with a report provided to the BOCC on donations collected and distributed. The Fair Board can vote on this at the February meeting. McClure seconded. Fredrick

McClure stated D1 – mowing, grading, cleaning ruts and moving rock and shale. Stinson stated D3 – mowing and grading.
Fredrick stated D2 – hauling rock and shale. Preparing to grind trees.
New Business: Treasurer Penny Huff discussed correspondence with the ADA regarding City Lien with Town of Lamont. Treasurer’s Office has never received paperwork to file. If the county receives the correct paperwork, we should file on the Tax Roll. Any other correspondence from the Town of Lamont’s legal representative should be directed to the ADA.
