ORDINANCE NO. G-447
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE SALE AND DISCHARGE OF FIREWORKS AND AMENDING SECTION 24-91(A) OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF HARPER, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF HARPER:
SECTION 1: Section 24-91(a) of the City Code of the City of Harper be hereby amended to read as follows:
24-91 Exceptions regarding discharges.
a) Section 24-90 shall not apply to the firing or discharge of fireworks in the city between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. June 27 to July 3; between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight on July 4; and between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. July 5.
SECTION 2: Section 24-91 (a) is hereby amended.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and publication in the official city newspaper, The Harper Advocate.
