The Board of Commissioners of Grant County, Oklahoma (BOCC) held a special meeting on Monday, August 31, 2026, at 11 :30 am. Notice of the Meeting, including agenda, was posted at both entrances of the Grant County Courthouse, Medford, OK, Thursday, August 27, 2026, prior to 11 :30 am. in accordance with Title 25, §301-314 O.S.
Stinson called the meeting to order at 11 :30 a.m. After roll call, a quorum was acknowledged. Present were Steve Stinson, Keith McClure, and Craig Fredrick. Also present were Rachelle McCaleb as Secretary, Dessie Scott, Donnie Head, and Penny Huft. Teleconferencing was enabled to comply with the Open Meetings Act. Out of the commissioners Stinson, Fredrick and McClure used their signature stamps and hand signed as well.
Stinson said a prayer and McClure led the flag salute.
McCaleb acknowledged the agenda was properly posted in compliance with the Open Meeting Act.
At 11 :30 am, Fredrick requested to move to item (7) New Business.
New Business:
McClure moved to approve Resolution 2026-154 – Donation: Southern Power – $30,462.50 – (02) Fredrick seconded. Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Fredrick – aye; Motion carried.
McClure moved to approve Resolution 2026-155 – Donation: Southern Power – $30,462.50 – (01) Fredrick seconded. Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Fredrick – aye; Motion carried.
Stinson moved to approve Purchase Order to Cornerstone Crushing. McClure seconded. Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Fredrick – aye; Motion carried.
At 11 :34 am Stinson moved back to item (a).
Stinson moved to approve Pinnacle Consulting – Scope of Service and Cost Estimate – Grant County – PROTECT Grant – Trenton Rd and Red Hill Rd. McClure seconded. Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Fredrick – aye; Motion carried.
At 11 :35 a.m. Fredrick moved to adjourn. McClure seconded. Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Fredrick – aye: Motion carried.
