Lady Timberwolves Compete at Pratt Tennis Tourney

The South Central girl’s tennis team attended the Pratt tournament on Saturday.

Fabiola Rivero played No. 1 singles. She beat Chaparral’s Tamanna Rozi 8-4 and lost to Larned’s Lauren Slider 8-1.

Mia Napierala played No. 2 singles. She lost to Conway Springs’ Rosalee Lange 8-6 and beat Lyons’ Keira Webb 8-5.

Marissa “Max” Miller and Nevaeh Pankrat played No. 1 doubles. They lost to Conway Springs’ Micah Wolke and Delaney Jones 8-0 and lost to Chaparral’s Fiona Carothers and Kylee Cooperrider 8-1.

Bonnie Herd and Elsie Herd played No. 2 doubles. They lost to Larned’s Jozlyn Mead and Danielle Hemken 8-1 and lost to Lyons’ Payton Nachtigal and Ava Almanza 8-1.

The Lady Timberwolves will attend a junior varsity tournament in Pratt Thursday. The varsity’s next tournament is this Tuesday at Meade.
