MINUTES OF BOCC REGULAR MEETING
The Board of Commissioners of Grant County, Oklahoma (BOCC) held a regular meeting on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 9:00 am. Notice of the Meeting, including agenda, was posted at both entrances of the Grant County Courthouse, Medford, OK, Friday, August 21, 2026, prior to 9:00 am. in accordance with Title 25, §301-314 O.S.
Stinson called the meeting to order at 9:01 a.m. After roll call, a quorum was acknowledged. Present were Steve Stinson, Keith McClure, and Craig Fredrick. Also present were Rachelle McCaleb as Secretary, Tim Irvin, and Penny Huff. Don Hightower with AirMedCare entered at 9:15am. Teleconferencing was enabled to comply with the Open Meetings Act. Out of the commissioners Stinson, Fredrick and McClure used their signature stamps and hand signed as well.
Stinson said a prayer and McClure led the flag salute.
Mccaleb acknowledged the agenda was properly posted in compliance with the Open Meeting Act.
Discussion on OLETS access included that all agreements would go through County Clerk’s Office. The OLETS contracts are in effect for the current fiscal year. Agreements with City of Medford and City of Pond Creek will be reviewed and brough up to date on the cost for next fiscal year and will be acknowledged by the BOCC yearly. No action will be taken.

At 9: 15 am, Don Hightower discussed current coverage information with AirMedCare. AirMedCare is a membership provided to county employees. They partner with the member’s insurance company with zero out of pocket expense to the member. The County will add AirMedCare to the yearly Benefit Fair.

McClure stated D1- The District is replacing a culvert on CR 890. Hauling material, grading and mowing.
Fredrick stated D2 – The District is mowing, hauling rock and shale.
Stinson stated D3 – The District has a project this morning on Craig, West of Hwy 81 doing ditch work and shale work. They are hauling rock and shale and mowing this week. Stinson will attend ACCO meeting on Wednesday in OKC.
No new business.
