NOTICE OF APPLICATION
TO: All Oil and Gas Producers, Purchasers, Royalty Owners, Landowners, and all other persons whomsoever concerned.
You, and each of you, are hereby notified that SoKan Operating, LLC has filed with the State Corporation Commission of the State of Kansas an Application pursuant to K.A.R. 82-3-100 requesting an exception to the ten (10) year limitation under K.A.R. 82-3-111 for temporary abandonment of its Merrill Trust 5-36 well located in the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (SW/4 NW/4) of Section 36, Township 33 South, Range 16 West, Comanche County, Kansas, and extension of eligibility for temporary abandonment for an additional three (3) years, subject to yearly renewal.
Any persons objecting to this Application are required to file their objections or protests with the State Corporation Commission, Conservation Division, 226 N. Main Street, Suite 220, Wichita, Kansas 67202-1513 within fifteen (15) days after publication of this notice. A copy of the protest shall be delivered to the Applicant. Protests shall comply with State Corporation Commission regulations, and shall include a clear and concise statement of the direct and substantial interest of the protester in the proceeding, together with specific allegations as to the manner in which grant of the Application will cause waste, violate correlative rights, or pollute the water resources of the State of Kansas. To secure consideration of an objection or protest, protesters shall offer evidence or a statement, or shall participate in the hearing on this Application before the State Corporation Commission to be held at the Hearing Room of the Kansas Corporation Commission, Conservation Division, 226 N. Main Street, Suite 220, Wichita, Kansas on a date and at a time to be announced.
All persons interested or otherwise concerned shall take notice of the foregoing and govern themselves accordingly.
