Another week closer to school starting. The kids haven’t been coming in as frequently this past week. Not sure if it’s just too darn hot to get out or if they are enjoying the last few days at the pool. I practically lived at the pool when I was growing up so I don’t blame them at all.
Several new books hit the shelves this week. We also qualified to receive the Kansas Notable Grant again this year, and we have all but three of those books ready to be checked out as well. Just a few of the new books added are:

The Community Room is filling up quickly for reunions and family gatherings. It’s never too soon to plan for the next Holiday and save yourself the mess at home. As of now Thanksgiving Day is reserved but other dates are still available. Give the library a call at (620) 622-4886 to save your date. The charge is $50 per day and to hold your date, payment is suggested as soon as possible after your reservation. You cancel with us up to two weeks in advance your money will be returned.
