SOLICITATION FOR BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by the Town of Lamont, Oklahoma, a Municipal Corporation, at the Office of the Town Clerk of said Town, located in Town Hall, 102 North Main Street in Lamont, Oklahoma, until 2:00 P.M., local time on July 23, 2026 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on July 16, 2026 at Town Hall located at 102 North Main Street in Lamont, Oklahoma.
Bids are invited upon the several items and quantities of work as follows:

Contract documents have been prepared by Brinley Engineering, LLC at 1022 Quail Ridge Road, Enid, OK 73703, 580-478-8495. A set of bidding documents in electronic PDF format will be emailed to interested bidders at no charge. Bidders can request a set by emailing the Engineer at jason@brinleyengineering.com. Please type “LAMONT WATER SCADA UPGRADE” Bidding Documents in the subject line of the email. Contact information of Company Name, Contact Name, Street Address, Telephone Number, and Email Address must be included.
Copies of the general conditions, plans, and specifications and other bidding documents are on file in the Town Clerk’s office and are open for public inspection.
A Business Relationships Affidavit, NonCollusion Affidavit, and a Cashier’s Check, a certified check or a surety bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the gross amount of the total bid as a guaranty, shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Deposits will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders and to successful bidders upon approval of the contract and execution of the Contract and required bonds.
Performance, Statutory, and Maintenance Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract with a Corporate Surety licensed in Oklahoma and approved by the Owner will be required. The Maintenance Bond will guarantee the repair of all damage due to improper materials or workmanship for a period of one (1) year after the acceptance of the work by the Owner.
The Town of Lamont, Oklahoma reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities in the bidding. Do not include state or local sales tax in your bid. The successful bidder will be appointed the Town’s agent for purposes of sales tax exemption. All bids received will be placed in a sealed envelope marked “LAMONT WATER SCADA UPGRADE” on the outside of the envelope in large, bold faced, capital letters.
