MINUTES OF BOCC REGULAR MEETING
The Board of Commissioners of Grant County, Oklahoma (BOCC) held a regular meeting on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 9:00 am. Notice of the Meeting, including agenda, was posted at both entrances of the Grant County Courthouse, Medford, OK, Friday, May 29, 2026, prior to 9:00 am. in accordance with Title 25, §301-314 O.S.
Stinson called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. After roll call, a quorum was acknowledged. Present were Steve Stinson, Keith McClure, and Craig Fredrick. Also present were Kerstin Orcutt as Secretary and Penny Huff. Teleconferencing was enabled to comply with the Open Meetings Act.
Out of the commissioners Stinson, Fredrick and McClure used their signature stamps and hand signed as well.
Penny Huff said a prayer and McClure led the flag salute.
Orcutt acknowledged the agenda was properly posted in compliance with the Open Meeting Act.
No action taken on Unifirst Contract Information
McClure moved to approve Transfer of Appropriations. Fredrick seconded. Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Fredrick- aye; Motion carried.
McClure moved to approve Blanket Purchase Orders. Fredrick seconded. Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Fredrick – aye; Motion carried.

McClure moved to approve request for reimbursement – Election Board Secretary for May ,2026 for

McClure moved to approve quote for Slater Mechanical for the 1st floor Men’s Restroom hot water tank for $466.00. McClure noted that if we could get a few quotes from local Vendors in the future. Orcutt noted
that Slater Mechanical is usually always able to respond and be available. Fredrick seconded. Stinson -aye; McClure -aye; Fredrick -aye; Motion carried.
McClure moved to approve Permit# 6-2026 Kay Electric Cooperative (Electric Line) McClure noted that this is on County Road 1000 & Major Rd to move electric wire underground no conflict with current
infrastructure. Fredrick seconded. Stinson -aye; McClure -aye; Fredrick -aye; Motion carried.
McClure moved to approve Permit# 7-2026 Kay Electric Cooperative (Electric Line) McClure noted that this is on County Road 980 in his district. Noted that Existing Upgrading Wires and adding a couple of
poles McClure stated that it will not affect current Infrastructure. Fredrick seconded. Stinson -aye;
McClure -aye; Fredrick -aye; Motion carried.
Stinson moved to approve County Budgeting Services LLC . Fredrick seconded. Stinson -aye; McClure -aye; Fredrick -aye; Motion carried.
McClure stated D1 -mowing and spraying thistles.
Fredrick stated D2 -Picking up chip out of Enid for next chip and seal project. Trimming trees/ Grading Roads
Stinson stated D3 -Hauling Rock, adding Gravel to Roads, Noted D3 foreman responded to help Grant County Sheriffs Office over the weekend. Business as usual.
Penny Huff noted that June Resale is June 8th, 2026, and that there were 16 properties up for Resale and now as of June 1, 2026, there would only be 1 Property for June Resale. Huff noted that Property did
have some interest from locals
