You are hereby notified that the Petition for Final Settlement has been filed on the 23nd day of April, 2026, in said Court by Marjorie Shaw, executor of the estate of Cheryl Jan Carpenter, deceased, praying for a final settlement of the estate, approval of their acts, proceedings and accounts as executor, allowance for attorney’s fees and expenses and determination of the heirs entitled to the estate. You are hereby required to file your written defenses thereto on or before the 21st day of May, 2026, at 1:30 o’clock p.m., on said day, in said Court, in the City of Medicine Lodge, Barber County, Kansas, at which time and place said cause will be heard. Should you fail therein, judgment and decree will be entered in due course upon said Petition.
