NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 27, 2026, the Kingman County Planning Commission will consider the following zoning application at 7:00 p.m. in the District Court Room (Third Floor) at the Courthouse in Kingman, Kansas:
Road Closure Petition to vacate a portion of SE Chestnut Ave. in the town of Rago.
Legal description: Rago, Town of, S09, T30, R07W, BLKS 21,22,27, LTS 1-17 BLK 28; Section 09 Township 30 Range 07W
General location: West on Second St to dead end road located on south side never established.
You may appear at this time either in person or by agent or attorney, if you so desire, and be heard on the matter. After hearing the views and wishes of all persons interested in the case, the Planning Commission may close the hearing and consider a recommendation to the Governing Body which, if approved under the County Zoning Regulations, would be effectuated by resolution. The public hearing may be recessed and continued from time to time without further notice.
