OFFICAL NOTICE OF ZONING HEARING
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN AND TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingman County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday March 12th, for Solar Regulations. The Kingman County Planning Commission will start discussion at 6:00 p.m. in the District Court Room (Third Floor) at the Courthouse in Kingman, KS.
“The proposed regulations, which establish a regulatory framework for the construction and operation of Large Scale Solar Energy Systems and Commercial/Utility Scale Solar Energy Conversion Systems, as well as establish a Special user permit processes subject to reasonable restrictions, and identify significant environmental, social, and economic impacts, are available for the public to review in the County Clerk’s office between 8 am and 5 pm Monday-Friday.”
You may appear at this time either in person or by agent or attorney, if you so desire, and be heard on the matter. After hearing the views and wishes of all persons interested in the topic, the Planning commission may close the hearing and consider a recommendation to the Governing Body which, if approved under the County Zoning Regulations, would be effectuated by resolution. The public hearing may be recessed and continued from time to time without further notice.
