ZONING HEARING

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN AND TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingman County Planning Commission will meet, Monday February 23rd. The Kingman County Planning Commission will consider the following zoning application at 7:00 p.m. in the District Court Room (Third Floor) at the Courthouse in Kingman, Kansas: 

Case No. Z -26 -001.   Proposed property by KM Ranch, LLC for the change of zoning district A-1 General Agriculture District to R-R Rural Residential District. 

Legal description: Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of Section 1, Township 29South, Range 5 West of the 6th Principal Meridian; Thence with a bearing South 00∞32’53’’ East(basis of bearings is NAD 83 Kansas South Zone) along the East line of said Northeast Quarter a distance of 2,549.90 feet to a point that is 100.00 feet North of the Southeast corner of said Northeast Quarter; Thence South 89°28’15” West parallel with the South line of said Northeast Quarter a distance of 746.76 feet; Thence North 00°32’53” West parallel with the East line of said Northeast Quarter a distance of 2,551 .45 feet to the North line of said Northeast Quarter; Thence North 89°35’23″ East along the North line of said Northeast Quarter a distance of 746.76 feet to the point of beginning containing 43.727 Acres.

General location: At the Northeast corner of Southeast 60 Street and Southeast 170 Avenue. On the South side of Southeast 60 Street, between Southeast 60 Street and Southeast 70 Street.   

  Acreage: 43.727 acres more or less.

You may appear at this time either in person or by agent or attorney, if you so desire, and be heard on the matter.  After hearing the views and wishes of all persons interested in the case, the Planning Commission may close the hearing and consider a recommendation to the Governing Body which, if approved under the County Zoning Regulations, would be effectuated by resolution.  The public hearing may be recessed and continued from time to time without further notice.
