ORDINANCE NO.  S-443

AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF HARPER, KANSAS, UNDER THE AUTHORITY GRANTED BY THE ZONING REGULATIONS OF THE CITY. 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF HARPER, KANSAS:

SECTION 1.  Having received a recommendation from the Harper Planning Commission on Case No. ZDC 2025  01, and proper notice having been given and hearing held as provided by law and under authority and subject to the provisions of the Zoning Regulations of the City of Harper Planning Commission as originally approved by Ordinance No. G-382, the zoning district classification of the property legally described herein is changed as follows:

Change of zoning district classification from the I-1 – Light Industrial District to the C – 2 General Commercial District.

Legal Description: A tract of land situated in Lot 2, Block A, City of Harper’s Business Park, City of Harper, Harper County, Kansas, being more particularly described as follows: The South 250 feet of Lot 2 less all right-of-ways in Block A of the City of Harper’s Business Park, in the City of Harper, Kansas.  

Commonly referred to as: 883 Frontage Rd., Harper, Harper County, Kansas. 

Such change of zoning is subject to the following conditions: none.

SECTION 2.  Upon the taking effect of this Ordinance, the above zoning change shall be entered and shown on the Official Zoning Map(s) as previously adopted by reference and said map(s) is hereby reincorporated as a part of the Zoning Regulations as amended.

SECTION 3.  This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage, approval and publication once in the official city newspaper.
