ORDINANCE NO. G-448
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO AND FIXING THE COMPENSATION AND PAY FREQUENCY OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL MEMBERS OF THE CITY OF HARPER, KANSAS; REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. G-398 AND AMENDING SECTION 2-36 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF HARPER, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF HARPER, KANSAS:
SECTION 1: Compensation for Mayor and Council Members.
a) The mayor and councilmembers shall receive the sum of two dollars annually.
b) The mayor and councilmembers’ compensation shall be paid at the final regular council meeting of the calendar year, only payable to members of the governing body at the time of payment.
SECTION 2: That Ordinance No. G-398 is hereby repealed and that Section 2-36 of the City Code of the City of Harper is hereby amended.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its date of publication.
