Eli Raymond Warren passed away peacefully on Aug. 19, 2025, in Gardner.
Eli made his quick entrance into this world on Jan. 25, 1978, in Attica.
Eli attended school in Attica. He graduated from Attica High School in the class of 1996. While in high school, he was active in band, 4-H and on the forensics team, excelling at extemporaneous speaking.
Eli pursued higher education with great passion, earning an associate degree from K-State-Salina in computer science technology in 1998. He earned a bachelor’s degree in science information networking and telecommunications and computer networking from Fort Hays State University. He also worked to earn multiple certifications in network technology. His intellectual curiosity and dedication to his field were evident to all who worked with him, and he built a reputation as a knowledgeable professional.
Outside of his academic and professional pursuits, Eli had many hobbies and interests. His family and friends were all very important to him. He enjoyed a night of gathering with those close to him, with good food and conversation. He enjoyed a day at any county or state fair, reminiscing and remembering his time in 4-H raising animals and learning so many life skills. He was involved in live action role play, being able to go back in time to enjoy a role of yesteryear. And he also enjoyed spending time playing games and taking part in friendly competition.
Eli is survived by his loving parents, Bruce and Cindy Warren, of Attica, his sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Larry Thimesch, and nephews Joe and Sam, of Zenda, and his girlfriend, Joanna Catherine Hammerschmidt, of Kansas City. Together, they mourn the loss of a devoted and beloved family member.
A Celebration of Eli’s life will be held in Attica, at the Attica Memorial Building on Oct. 18 at 11 a.m.
