ORDINANCE NO. 2141 SUMMARY
On June 12, 2025, the City of Kingman, Kansas, adopted Ordinance No. 2142 which amends Section 7-302 of the Code of the City of Kingman to clarify that possession of fireworks that comply with Section7-307 of the City Code is permitted within the city year-round, provided such fireworks are not used, displayed for sale, or otherwise handled in a manner prohibited by local ordinance. All other provisions of the fireworks regulations remain unchanged. Pursuant to K.S.A. 12-3007 this summary is certified by Cody Smith, City Attorney.
