COMBINED ORDER AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON PETITION TO ADMINISTER ESTATE, APPOINT PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE AND DETERMINE IDENTITY OF HEIRS-AT-LAW 

On this 19th day of October, 2023, there comes for consideration by the Court, the Petition To Administer Estate, Appoint Personal Representative, and Determine Identity of Heirs-at-Law (“Petition For Administration”) filed by the Petitioner, Wesley G. Casey.  For good cause shown, the Court finds that the Petition For Administration should be set for hearing at a date certain and notice given as required by law.  

IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the Petition For Administration filed herein is set for hearing before the undersigned Judge on November 14, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., in District Courtroom of the Grant County Courthouse, in Medford, Grant County, Oklahoma, when and where any interested person may appear and show cause why the relief requested, or some portion thereof, should not be granted, the requested Personal Representative appointed, and that pursuant to 58 O.S. §240, the heirs-at-law of the decedent, Steven Scott Austin, be determined by the Court.

Petitioner

Jason Jump is an award-winning journalist and photographer. He has a wide range of education and experience. Jump started out his newspaper career as a sports editor for a daily paper in western Oklahoma. After a short stint in journalism he went on to coach basketball and teach from the junior high classroom all the way to college. He started an online newspaper in Texas and managed it for 10 years before moving to Kansas to purchase the Kingman Leader-Courier. Jump and his wife, Stephanie now own four newspapers in south central Kansas and north central Oklahoma via M3 Publishing, LLC.
