Kingman’s 8G Girls Win League Track Meet

CONWAY SPRINGS – The Kingman Middle School 8th-grade girl’s track team won the nine-team Central Plains League meet at Conway Springs recently.

The Lady Eagles scored 104 points, edging second-place Cheney by one point. They had first-place finishes from Josie Albin in the 100-meter dash, 800-meter run, and pole vault, Makayla Oeding in the 1600-meter and 3200-meter runs, and Karli Packard in the 75-meter and 200-meter hurdles.

The 7th-grade team placed sixth with 36.5 points. Carlie Kelley took first in the long jump and triple jump.
