Kingman County: Voter Registration Notice 2025

NOTICE OF PLACES AND DATES 

OF REGISTRATION:

Pursuant to the provisions of K.S.A. 25-2310 and 25-2311, notice is hereby given that the books for the registration of voters of Kingman County, Kansas will be closed from 5:00 p.m. on October 14, 2025 until the day after the General Election on November 5th, 2025.

OFFICE HOURS:

The books will be kept open each day from 8:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the County Clerk’s Office, Kingman County Courthouse, Kingman, Kansas through October 14, 2025.

If you have never registered in Kingman County, Kansas and have lived in the ward or township for 30 days or more, and will have attained the age of 18 years by the time of the General Election, and a U.S. Citizen, you must register before you can vote.

When a voter has been registered according to the law, his registration shall continue to be valid until one of the following occurs:

1. The voter changes name by marriage, divorce or legal proceedings.

2. The voter changes residence in which he resided at the time he registered.

3. When a voter dies or is disqualified for voting, his registration will be removed from the files.

If you are a foreign birth, you must present final naturalization papers in order to register.  Everyone wishing to register must appear in person at one of the places listed above or may request in writing by mail to the County Election Officer to be registered.  Application forms shall be provided by the County Election Officer upon request in person or in writing from an individual.  Such application shall be signed by the applicant under penalty of perjury.
