NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingman County Planning Commission will meet, Monday August 25th. The Kingman County Planning Commission will consider the following zoning application at 7:00 p.m. in the District Court Room (Third Floor) at the Courthouse in Kingman, Kansas:
Case No. Z -25 -007. Proposed property by AVRE LLC for the change of zoning district A-1 General Agriculture to R-R Rural Residential district.
Legal description: Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of Section 17, Township 28 South, Range 5 West of the 6th Principal Meridian; thence with a bearing North 88’18’10’’ East (basis of bearings NAD 83 Kansas South Zone) along the North line of said Northwest Quarter a distance of 709.50 feet; thence south 00’17’51’’ East parallel with the West line of said Northwest Quarter a distance of 661.21 feet; thence South 88’18’10’’ West parallel with the North line of said Northwest Quarter a distance of 709.50 feet to the West line of said Northwest Quarter; thence North 00’17’51’’ West along the West line of said Northwe4st Quarter a distance of 661.21 feet to the point of beginning containing 10.766 Acres subject to a road right-of-way easement across the West 30.00 feet and the North 40.00 feet thereof and any other easements of record.

After hearing the views and wishes of all persons interested in the case, the Planning Commission may close the hearing and consider a recommendation to the Governing Body which, if approved under the County Zoning Regulations, would be effectuated by resolution. The public hearing may be recessed and continued from time to time without further notice.
