MINUTES OF BOCC REGULAR MEETING
The Board of Commissioners of Grant County, Oklahoma (BOCC) held a special meeting on Monday, August 6, 2025, at 9:00 am. Notice of the Meeting, including agenda, was posted at both entrances of the Grant County Courthouse, Medford, OK, Tuesday August 5, 2025, prior to 9:00 am. in accordance with Title 25, §301-314 O.S.
Stinson called the meeting to order at 9:07 a.m. After roll call, a quorum was acknowledged. Present were Steve Stinson and Keith McClure. Also present were Kerstin Orcutt and Penny Huff. Teleconferencing was enabled to comply with the Open Meetings Act. Out of the commissioners Stinson and McClure used their signature stamps and hand signed as well.
Stinson said a prayer and McClure led the flag salute.
Orcutt acknowledged the agenda was properly posted in compliance with the Open Meeting Act.
There were no Transfer of Appropriations.
There were no Blanket Purchase Orders.
There were no Purchase Orders or Travel Claims.
McClure moved to approve minutes from 08.04.2025 BOCC Regular Meeting. Stinson seconded. Fredrick – absent; Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Motion carried.
Stinson moved to acknowledge Grant County Financial Report from Penny Huff. McClure seconded. Fredrick – absent; Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Motion carried.
Stinson moved to approve Monthly Appropriations McClure seconded. Fredrick – absent; Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Motion carried.
McClure moved to approve reimbursement of Election Board Secretary July 2025 $ 3,375. Stinson seconded. Fredrick – absent; Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Motion carried.
McClure moved to approve reimbursement of District Attorney- July 2025 $528.38. Stinson seconded. Fredrick – absent; Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Motion carried.
McClure moved to approve Regular Payroll for Officer’s/ Employees for July 2025 disbursement in August 2025. Stinson Seconded. Fredrick – absent; Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Motion carried.
McClure moved to approve Statutory Travel for elected officials for July 2025 for disbursement in August 2025. Stinson Seconded. Fredrick – absent; Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Motion carried.
McClure moved to approve Monthly Mortgage Tax & Certification Fee for July 2025 for disbursement in August 2025. Stinson Seconded. Fredrick – absent; Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Motion carried.
McClure moved to approve Allocation of Alcoholic Beverage tax for July 2025 for disbursement in August 2025. Stinson Seconded. Fredrick – absent; Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Motion carried.
McClure moved to approve Motor Vehicle Tax for July 2025 for disbursement in August 2025. Stinson Seconded. Fredrick – absent; Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Motion carried.
McClure moved to approve Court Clerks Records Management and Preservation Monthly Report for July 2025 for disbursement in August 2025. Stinson Seconded. Fredrick – absent; Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Motion carried.
McClure moved to acknowledge Jail Report for July 2025 Stinson seconded. Fredrick – absent; Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Motion carried.
McClure moved to approve Resolution 2025-161 Sheriff’s Office Funding Assistance Grant Application. Stinson Seconded. Fredrick – absent; Stinson – aye; McClure – aye; Motion carried.
