MINUTES OF BOCC REGULAR MEETING<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Board of Commissioners of Grant County, Oklahoma (BOCC) held a regular meeting on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 9:00 am. Notice of the Meeting, including agenda, was posted at both entrances of the Grant County Courthouse, Medford, OK, Tuesday, October 6, 2026, prior to 9:00 am. in accordance with Title 25, \u00a7301-314 O.S. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
McClure called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. After roll call, a quorum was acknowledged. Present were 1st Deputy Tony Shaffer (in for Commissioner Steve Stinson), Keith McClure, and 1st Deputy Jennifer Cripe (in for Commissioner Craig Fredrick). Also present were Rachelle McCaleb as Secretary and Penny Huff. Teleconferencing was enabled to comply with the Open Meetings Act. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Treasurer Penny Huff said a prayer and McClure led the flag salute. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
McCaleb acknowledged the agenda was properly posted in compliance with the Open Meeting Act. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cripe moved to approve Transfer of Appropriations. Shaffer seconded. Shaffer – aye; McClure – aye; Cripe – aye; Motion carried. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cripe moved to approve Monthly Appropriations. Shaffer seconded. Shaffer – aye; McClure – aye; Cripe – aye; Motion carried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cripe moved to approve monthly Mortgage Tax & Certification Fee for September, 2026 for disbursement in October, 2026 – $110.00. Shaffer seconded. Shaffer- aye; McClure – aye; Cripe – aye; Motion carried. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cripe moved to approve Allocation of Alcoholic Beverage Tax for September, 2026 for disbursement in October, 2026 – $16,641.18. Shaffer seconded. Shaffer – aye; McClure – aye; Cripe – aye; Motion carried. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cripe moved to approve Allocation of Motor Vehicle Tax for September, 2026 for disbursement in October, 2026 – $1663.17. Shaffer seconded. Shaffer – aye; McClure – aye; Cripe – aye; Motion carried. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
McClure stated D1- The District is hauling rock given from the wind farm project. They are grading and normal maintenance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cripe stated D2 – The District is hauling rock, mowing, and setting tubes. Normal maintenance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shaffer st;:,ted D3 – The District is mowing, grading and working on Grady project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
No new business. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
At 9: 14 a.m. Shaffer moved to adjourn. Cripe seconded. Shaffer – aye; McClure – aye; Cripe – aye: Motion carried. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
