{"id":88231,"date":"2025-01-22T09:26:44","date_gmt":"2025-01-22T15:26:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kcnonline.com\/wp\/?p=88231"},"modified":"2025-01-22T09:26:48","modified_gmt":"2025-01-22T15:26:48","slug":"jefferson-notice-of-election","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.kcnonline.com\/wp\/2025\/01\/22\/jefferson-notice-of-election\/","title":{"rendered":"Jefferson: Notice of Election"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Municipalities Under The Town Meeting Act&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Notice of Election<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Resolution 2025-1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees for the Town of Jefferson, Oklahoma that for the purpose of electing officers of said Town that a General Election shall be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 7:00 o\u2019clock p.m. and&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that two (2) Trustees and one (1) Clerk\/Treasurer, will be nominated and elected for&nbsp; four (4) year term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that each candidate for Town Office shall be a qualified elector of the Town and a resident for six (6) months, and&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that voters shall be entitiled to vote for two (2) Trustees and one (1) Clerk\/Treasurer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adopted this 13th day of January, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>_________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Joyce G.
