Annual board member voting. October Board Meeting Monday, Oct. 20, 2014 The Nominating Committee submits for approval the slate of candidates listed below. Three candidates will be elected to replace the directors whose terms are expiring. Each candidate must be an active member, in good standing and must have agreed to accept the responsibility of a directorship, if elected. If for some good reason one or more of the candidates is not acceptable to the majority of the board, the unacceptable candidates shall be removed from the list and the Nominating Committee will be reconvened to provide additional candidates. Ten days prior to the October board meeting ballots will be prepared containing the names of the candidates listed in alphabetical order and will be forwarded to each chamber member. The ballot shall contain several additional spaces for write-in candidates. The ballot shall state that they are to vote for three of the candidates and that the three receiving the largest number of votes will be elected to a three year term on the Board of Directors. Voting members will be directed to have their ballots returned to the Chamber office prior to the date of the regular October board meeting which date shall be specified on the ballot.
